SBF Cortez & Boyd Martin 8th at Fair Hill International CCI2*

Boyd Martin competed SBF Cortez, our 7-year-old Oldenburg/Thoroughbred cross, in his first CCI2* at Fair Hill International in October, 2014.  The division was very large and competitive with 125 horse and rider combinations.  They received a 43 in dressage putting them in Third place after dressage only 2.5 points off the leader.  Boyd took him slowly around the cross country giving him a confidence building round incurring 2.5 time penalties.  And they had a couple of rails in stadium finishing in 8th place!!
