Bailey did his second eventing competition ever at Stoneleigh after coming in 1st at his first eventing competitiong at the UNH Horse Trials. At Stoneleight he received a 31.4 in dressage putting him 2nd after Rocky, our 4-year-old (they were in the same division!). Then there was a problem with the stadium jumping as one of the jumps was not set up correctly and, unfortunately, Bailey was the second horse to jump of the entire day. The first horse had 2 refusals at the jump and the horse after Bailey had a rider fall. They fixed the jump after that and then eventually removed it. Bailey had his first refusal ever because of that jump and ended up coming in 6th place. If that jump hadn't been incorrectly set up he would have placed 2nd!!! He was a really good boy jumping clean on cross country which he has never done before UNH where he jumped clean as well!! We are very proud of him!
